Holland MacFallister is delighted to continue his association with Cambridge University Press at CATESOL after teaming with them at COABE in Seattle and CCAE in Los Angeles, as well as sharing his enthusiasm for adult ed in several online videos and live panels. He is a full-time ESL instructor at Evans Community Adult School in Los Angeles serving at the Hollywood High School campus. While currently working with low to high intermediate students, in the past he has taught all levels from low beginners to advanced, sometimes at the same time. Holland began his ESL career over 20 years ago in New York teaching at Baruch College and Kaplan International. He is a contributing writer for a highly successful ESL textbook in China, where he created content for teacher-directed classroom activities, digital homework, and placement tests. He is a fully credentialed teacher in the state of California, a cum laude graduate of UCLA, and a holder of the University of Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA). Holland also has a modest acting career and has appeared in a few things he would prefer you do not google.
