We'll discuss the role that listening, hearing, and perceiving play in producing, pronouncing sounds, words, and pitch contours in an additional language or accent. Participants will see and experience ways to promote listening discrimination activities that help learners improve their pronunciation of sounds and pitch contours.

This presentation provides insights on how to adapt and utilize AI applications and chatbots within classroom curricula. In order to reflect on and offer insights to transform the way teachers approach ESOL speaking skills assessment, this engaging panel will feature three panelists presenting best practices and case studies from the university, community college, and K-12 levels.
